2023 BPOU Convention
Our 2023 BPOU convention will be held on Saturday March 4th, 2023 at Two Rivers High School in Mendota Heights (1897 Delaware Ave). Doors will open at 8:30am, the call to order will be at 9:00am, and registration will close at 9:30am.
The registration fee will be $20.00 for delegates, alternates, and adult guests. No delegate or alternate will be denied seating if unable to pay the fee. In addition, anyone who makes a fully refundable contribution of $50 or $100 (under Minnesota's Political Contribution Program) will have their registration fee waived. Online pre-payment will close no earlier than 36 hours before the call to order (9:00 PM on Thursday, March 2nd), but you can still pay at the door after that.
The convention will be composed of the delegates and alternates elected at the 2022 precinct caucuses. While we will be seated in delegations according to the lines from before 2020's redistricting (since that is how we were elected at caucus), only members of the post-redistricting SD 52 are eligible to participate.
The convention will conduct the following business:
- Consideration of adoption of amendments to our constitution and bylaws.
- Election of BPOU and House District Officers
- Election of delegates and alternates to the State Central Committee
- Any other business that may properly come before us.

Officer Elections:
We will be electing all fourteen members of our executive committee to two year terms. We encourage anyone to run for a position and participate in your local political party - our elections are friendly, and for many positions, we can really use your help if you are willing to volunteer on the committee!
